Sustainability Policy
On 5 February 2019, the Extended Executive Board of UZH adopted the Sustainability Policy, which was developed by the UZH Sustainability Commission. With the Sustainability Policy, UZH commits to its responsibility for sustainable development.
Implementation of the Sustainability Policy
The implementation of the Sustainability Policy until 2030, builds on three pillars:
- The "Umsetzungsstrategie 2030 zur Sustainability Policy" (Implementation Strategy 2030 for the Sustainability Policy, only available in German) which sets sustainability goals for the entire UZH.
Umsetzungsstrategie 2030 zur Sustainability Policy (PDF, 228 KB) - Initiatives of individual organizational units: Such working groups on sustainability, whose members usually contribute perspectives of specific disciplines and organizational conditions of certain departments, exist at several organizational units.
Initiatives in Organizational Units - The broad voluntary commitment of many UZH members, ranging from students to technical-administrative and scientific staff to members of the Executive Board. You can find suggestions for your personal engagement here.
